Vital Therme spa bath

Our thermal baths are a treat for everyone. Whether indoors or outdoors, guests enjoy bathing in pools with pleasant temperatures ranging from 30 to 34 degrees centigrade, and relaxing in healing and healthful spa waters. Bad Wildbad and water have been synonymous for hundreds of years. It is Bad Wildbad's spa water in particular that is lauded by physicians and bathers alike. Many guests count on bathing in the warmth of thermal springs and regularly return for stays in our spa resort because they have no doubts that the healing powers of water will help with their back problems and joint pain and give them an overall sense of well-being.

Speaking of water - the Wildbad thermal spring is a warm natural spring containing fluoride. Its temperatures at source range from 35 to 42 degrees centigrade and it flows at a rate of 12 litres per second from the earth. This abundance makes it possible to almost completely renew the water every day in the spa's pools within 24 hours. Minerals dissolved in the spring water, the warmth, and the constant flow of fresh water are certainly the reasons behind the successful curative effect of Wildbad's thermal springs on many people who have visited from far and near - for centuries.

Coupled with health treatment programmes available to guests in the new spa therapy and wellness area, a world of health has been created here which offers guests soothing cream and oil baths and a Roman steam bath in addition to the traditional remedies that have been used for decades in Bad Wildbad.

The Vital Therme and Health Centre are nestled in a park-like landscape, surrounded by nature and yet in the centre of town.

Our guests appreciate our amenities - sun terraces and lawns with recliners, exercises and curative treatments, wellness programmes, and rest areas with views over the town and the Black Forest valley. Using the Finnish sauna (90°), the log sauna (80°), or the steam bath, included in the price, helps to fortify your immune system.

Children of all ages are welcome in the Vital Therme. (They must be at least six to use the sauna.)
